Reasons for Updating Your Address
- Relocating your office or adding a new branch
- Switching from a home office to commercial premises
- Compliance with CIPC requirements to keep contact details current
Steps to Update

- Certified ID copies of directors
- Submit Online via CIPC:
- Log in to the CIPC e‑services portal.
- Navigate to “Company Address Change” or “CoR 21.2” form.
- Upload supporting documents and confirm the new physical and postal address.
- Pay Applicable Fees:
- There may be a nominal fee for processing the change. Ensure your CIPC account is funded.

- Update invoices, letterheads and website contact information.
Important Notes
- Changes take effect once processed by the CIPC (typically within a few business days).
- You may need to file a notice of amendment to your MOI if the registered address is recorded there.
- Companies with multiple addresses (e.g. trading premises and head office) must specify which address is the legally registered office.
